Very honest compared to others in town. Multiple other places misdiagnosed my car, but they fixed the issue with the AC right away. Definitely come here in Tyler.

Nothing but great things to say. My clutch went out and I'm not from the area, live alone and don't know too much about cars - Brendan was amazing! He was kind, straight forward and gave me a great price on top of great customer service. He was wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone. Great customer service and great work!!

My extended warranty company approved for us to get a rebuilt transmission through a company and pay enough for labor and diagnostic etc, but Brenden at AAMCO told me at first he had problems with that company and wanted me to buy one where I would have to pay $2100 out of pocket. Then I called company with transmission who offered warranty said he would just need to call and place order. I relayed message andBrenden then said he had issues with them in past and the company would not let him purchase. I then again told him they are waiting for his call to get ordered and he said ok. Next day no order placed and whe I called Brenden he said he could not do the job for he would be out of money. Remind you, transmission was $1750 and he was getting $3100 from warranty company. He told me in beginning labor would be around $600-$700 but then changed to $900 which is fine but the difference of $1350 would well pay for labor and other for business. Long story short, he would change a lot of information and would not help us with our warranty company with out us paying a lot of out of pocket. Bad customer care and service. Will not recommend

They are open and honest about their prices. A lot of people forget that when you bring a vehicle somewhere else to get fixed you have to pay for the parts you need AND the labor for a skilled mechanic to remove what needs fixed (plus everything in the way) then fix or exchange it then put your vehicle back together which takes time and knowledge. These are some great guys that know what they're doing!!

Man!! What a truly AMAZING EXPERIENCE!! I had some issues with my newly purchased 2020, low mileage Ford Fusion. My car was under warranty from DriveTime, and their front office gave me Aamco as a shop to use. They were completely ready for me when I arrived at my scheduled appointment time (0900) they diagnosed all my car’s issues within the first 15 minutes!! Everything was explained very thoroughly by the head guy, Brandon. Brandon went above and beyond with ensuring the warranty company understood the issues, and making sure everything was covered under the warranty. The mechanic, Lee, jumped on the issues immediately. He had things prepped, removed, and ready for the arrival of the new parts, minimizing my overall waiting time. Everyone was EXTREMELY knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. Aamco total car care of Tyler is the place I will be taking my car for any future issues. I am recommending them to all my family and friends. Well done Aamco! Thank you.
